The Travel Slipper...never leave home without it..

I have been travelling since before I was born. I came into the world in a race of death between millions of other not so strong swimmers going for the same entrance to the egg. I don't remember getting there first but I was definitely the first one that got in....to the rest of the dying sperm that I left behind....I bid a fine farewell and a loud WooHoooo!! Losers!! Didn't need any slippers then....

But now....

A good comfy pair of travel slipper is crucial. Its light, simple, tough and dries up easy when wet. My other half has experienced lots of anguish because she, always without fail choose looks rather than the features I've just listed above. So after a short 3 day holiday, she will be recuperating for another 6 days tending to her blisters the size of Texas!! Some people never learn....

There are slippers for all types of travellers travelling in all weather conditions and terrain. See pics...

Flip-flops, hawaii chappal, thongs, Japanese sandals are an open type of outdoor footwear, consisting of a flat sole held loosely on the foot by a Y-shaped strap, like a thin thong, that passes between the first (big) and second toes and around either side of the foot. Flip-flops may also be held to the foot with a single strap over the front of the foot rather than a thong. Giselle Bunchen was so impressed with the Victoria Secret's thong design that she's made millions from the Ipanema Flip Flops!! Talk about re-inventing the wheel!!

Sandals are an open type of outdoor footwear, consisting of a sole held to the wearer's foot by straps passing over the instep and, sometimes, around the ankle. While the distinction between sandals and other types of footwear can sometimes be blurry (as in the case of huaraches—the woven leather footwear seen in Mexico—and peep-toe pumps), the common understanding is that a sandal leaves most of the upper part of the foot exposed, particularly the toes. People may choose to wear sandals for several reasons, among them economy (sandals tend to require less material than shoes and are usually easier to construct), comfort in warm weather, and as a fashion choice but a villian as far as the Fashion Police are concerned.
Usually, people wear sandals in warmer climates or during warmer parts of the year in order to keep their feet cool and dry. The risk of developing athlete's foot is lower than with enclosed shoes, and the wearing of sandals may be part of the treatment regimen for such an infection. Who says athelete's have great feet? Legs yes but not their stinkin' feet !!

A slipper or houseshoe is a semi-closed type of indoor/outdoor shoe, consisting of a sole held to the wearer's foot by a strap running over (or between) the toes or instep. Slippers are soft and lightweight compared to other types of footwear. They are mostly made of soft or comforting materials that allow a certain level of comfort for the wearer. This can range from faux fur to leather. Most slippers are worn in late autumn and winter and on occasion in other seasons.

Where I come from...anything that slips on easy, cheap and very robust....are called SLIPPERS....so I don't give a hoot what Wikipedia says, Oxford Dictionary says....Slippers are slippers to me!!

No its not Adidas....recycled yes...would I recommend? Absolutely NOT!!

Only if you want to ask for a discount from your hotel cause you waxed the hotel room floor.... Advice: Keep this for your own home..
Yes...comfy, practical, funky but if you are over 45 years of age....be prepared to be called Loony...

If you think Louboutins and Jimmy Choos are pricey, you’re definitely not ready for the newest Chipko sandal — which costs $18,000, making them the world’s priciest flip-flops. And they aren’t even diamond-encrusted.

Nooooooo!!!! Its just not on!!! Don't make a fool of your parents, education or country...Noooo!!! Fortunately you won't embarass your wife cause if you've been wearing this...nobody will marry you in the first place!!

Freaky eh??

Even Kobe don't do this.....

If you're going somewhere freezing.......good idea...

Very popular in Asia....for those ladies that have problems reaching the room light switch, for those who gets in a lift and have to walk up to the 20th floor from the 10th floor cause they could not reach the upper buttons....its light, durable but sometimes prone to ankle twisting injury...

This may be comfy but what a stupid fashion statement.....The Caucasian Style as we know it in Asia....

Geeks will be geeks....and they think its cool...go figure..

Practical recycle....made from used tyres...Who knew Michelin, GoodYear, Bridgestone, Continental and Dunlop made these?? Very durable and can cover thousands of miles!! Custom made by boutique workshops under some tree in Mali or Timbuktu somewhere...

Waste of space, shows that you are as mature as senior politician and proves that your feet is more interesting than your face..Old men use this trick to look into women's blouses...shame on you!!

The most practical...u can find it everywhere around the world, the pad-lock may be more expensive than the flips...the only time you need to keep it secure is if yours is a size 14 above....nobody keeps stock of large flips....if you lose em', might as well go buy a used GoodYear and follow the design above...the recycled one..

Forget about it....nobody walks on grass like this for more than a few seconds....u want the sensation of being on holiday? walk on sand or water....if you see nice grass at any resort etc...you'll find the 'Don't step on grass' sign somewhere...so don't bother...
You think this is a joke???

Well....he doesn't seem to think so....
